Ferrari F40

There are many reasons to why the Ferrari F40 is often hailed as one of the great modern super cars. For starters even before the F40 had an engine or wheels it was already being talked of as pioneering due to the intensity of the aerodynamic testing its body shell was going through, this same body shell included a good deal of kevlar which helped to add as much strength Ferrari could for minimum of weight.
So its probably off little surprise to hear that when the first one rolled off the production line in 1987 it immediately held the title of ‘the worlds fastest street legal production car’ (as well as the most expensive) and did so till 1989.
But for us what makes the F40 so special is that it was the last car that the 90 year old Enzo Ferrari commissioned before his death, which makes the F40 an extremely fitting tribute to Enzo and everything that Ferrari stood for.
