So today we stumbled upon the chap who painted all the movie posters you remember from childhood (well pretty much the only ones that matter), it’s the mighty Drew Struzan.
Starting out back in the 70’s he got his first major debut when asked to create a poster for the re-release of Star Wars. So with airbrush in hand he began paving the way for an iconic career in movie poster history. With Struzan being a particular favourite of film directors George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, he ended up providing artwork for over 150 movie posters, including Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and Star Wars.
