If You Could Collaborate

If You Could Collaborate

If you were one of the privileged few that managed to get inside the ‘If You Could Collaborate’ exhibition on the private view night, we salute you. Recuperate on the other hand waited it out until the weekend to go see the fourth annual ‘If You Could’ exhibition held at the A Foundation Gallery, Rochelle School in London.

The lads at ‘If You Could’ asked the crème de la crème in the creative industry to produce something out of the ordinary by working alongside a partner of their choosing from any discipline or profession. And what a wonderful idea that was to, with most of the participants not resting on their laurels and jumping up and knocking their heads together to create some truly unique pieces!

So click the link above and take a look at the outcomes!

Our personal favourites :

Michael Moloney & John Hooper: a soothing short time-lapse film set 2500ft on top of a hill in the Great Langdale area of The Lake District. If it doesn’t make you want to grab your pop-up tent and wind-up torch and RUN. then shame on you.

Mario Hugo & Michah Lidberg: spilling their consciousness onto 12 pieces of antique book paper. Maybe this is best seen in the flesh to appreciate the true level of detail and draughtsmanship but still what a beautiful thing.

Andersen M Studio & LekaGape: a set of limited edition A2 screen printed posters that were printed on imported African paper stock (elephant and rhinoceros dung paper). Want an explanation why?.. then click the link and go read up on this and all the other collaborations!
