Moving Brands - Tackling London’s Identity Crisis.

http://abrandforlondon.wordpress.com/
I meant to post about this a few weeks back when it all happened but our shiny new Recuperate wasn’t quite up so i had to delay it till now.. but better late than never!!
If you didn’t hear about it a few weeks back the Greater London Authority/Boris decided that it was time to give London a bit of re-branding and invited those who were brave to have a shot at it (you can read CR take on it here.) So back in early August the brand agency Moving Brands stepped up to the challenge and decided to re-brand London..
Importantly throughout the whole project Moving Brands felt it vital to discuss ideas and hear the opinion of fellow Londoners along with thoroughly looking into the many identities which the Capital currently has, obviously conscious of not wanting to upset the majority like the 2012 logo seemed to do.
We feel they did a pretty good job here’s their pitch and surprisingly they didn’t win the brief.
Should you want it Boris email is Mayor@london.gov.uk
if you want to drop him a quick one liner to ask why they didn’t win? we’re a bit baffled too, especially as they were going to get Scott Thomas (the man behind the visual/digital design of the Obama campaign) on board!
